I'm going to go stop by the campground in about 20 minutesOkay, here's the latest attendance list based on this thread and any other emails/texts I received (sorry it's so late, I just got back from Chicago this morning at 1:30 AM):
David S. - left this morning & secured 3 spots at Tuttle Creek Campground (#65, #66, & #67)
Marc M. - left this morning, tonight at motel in Lone Pine
Jason S. - left earlier today (Thursday)
Travis V. - leaving early Friday morning
Chris V. - leaving early Friday morning
Bill J. - leaving early Friday morning
Will - leaving early Friday morning
Jerry - leaving Friday?
Joe R. - leaving as early as I can Friday, but the way my day's going we'll see what time I roll...
menancyandsam - may be joining us at some point
Deidre - hadn't made a decision last I heard.
So, with 9-11 rigs (unless more folks show up than anticipated), we'll probably need 5-6 campsites. I'll try to coordinate with David. We can decide on a radio comm's strategy when we meet at the campsite, but I'll be monitoring Ham channel 146.535 on the way up. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
Great, thanks! can you post up the conditions next time you get a signal?I'm going to go stop by the campground in about 20 minutes
Marc
I have reserved an additional camp site#70 . For 2night's, The campsite will easily hold 3 rigs . All the way up 395 high wind today . Wind has calmed down for the evening now. Weather is in the 60s . And even cooler up at the camp sites . The fishing wasn't bad today either .#troutGreat, thanks! can you post up the conditions next time you get a signal?
Glad to hear it! Given your experience with sidewall punctures, I'd suggest the next set of tires have 3-ply sidewalls. The BFG AT KO2's & Toyo Open Country AT/3's both have 3-ply sidewalls & 3PMSF rating. I'm sure there are others out there, too. Best wishes! This gimp made it home no issues.
The spare we put on must be filled w helium...18.5 mpg.
Wait...downhill & tailwind?
