Funny, that little video was shortly after she was first swapped and I was missing a shock on the p.s. rear. Any traction loss like that was sketchy at best. I don't do it often to spare the H55F/split case, but she'll pretty much burn down 2nd gear if you give it the beans. First gear peels are no fun because it spins up so damn fast :D

I would like to see this set up on the rig. Still trying to decide how to run mine
I'll get some shots today or this weekend. Thought I had some but search came up empty.

So much for a bolt in swap! Engine sits a good 3" too far forward from the 350. Looks like I am going to cut the mounts out and move them back a bit...

With the 60 series top plate on trans, shifter should come out about in stock location..

Mounts moved and a fresh coat of paint on them.

I will say, if you can swing a gantry crane, they really come in handy!

Anyone use one of these fan/radiator combos?

Really hard to get any good shots from the ground:
This is the passenger side manifold and how it drops straight down and across the oil pain just in front of the sump:

Despite an RTI ramp telling me there was clearance, you can see where the front driveshaft kissed the exhaust wrap first real wheelin' trip.

This shows how the p.s. collector turns back and the v-band at the top left is where it merges with the d.s. dump. Hard to see.

Lets try this:

I have the 3 core version without fan for my 350 swap. I still need to build a shroud but saw this with the elec fan option. I really do like the mechanical fan for simplicity.

I need that manifold on the ps side, my rear dump gets in the way of the starter bolt and has another 90* bend, I'd like to replace with that one you used, C5 manifold, correct ? Looks like you added a short down tube to it ?

Yup, exactly. The c5 don't dump straight down, but that's fairly easily modified and I added v-band clamps at the same time.

my front driveline has exact same stop point going up, my oil pan skid sheared the zerk off and as the skid and dline are parallel and flat its a good fit, they never rub because mt front diff dont go up that far but the dline clearance and u joints can so its good, mine dont rub exhaust cause mine is smaller tube 2.5, i wrapped it too. I had to build a heat shield for the clutch slave as it sits on top of the collector on ds. I am wanting to switch to 3 " so this is a good map.

Another box showed up yesterday. This is the adapter to put the tbi350 into my 77. I sold the 2f to a customer/friend. I need to swap engines then Drop the 2f in his 72 FJ40. I hope to not be distracted too long but plan to still order parts for this build and work on it some in between.

Do you have any problems with the exhaust cooking the crap out of your oil pan? I’m with you. I don’t see any other way to route the exhaust on my truck too. I’m using Hooker manifolds from Holley and then I picked up a new swap pan from Holley too.

Maybe not ideal, but I didn't see any option on my rig either. So I header wrapped that section. I guess we'll see in about 10 years if it's an issue, hopefully not sooner :D

My 6.0 has the same exh. for 15 years and no issues with heat, stock fj40 radiator and it runs 190 - 200 all day on the trail, 4lo, 2nd & 3rd on the sm420, it rarely bumps up above 200 for a bit in really slow sections on hot days but cools down quick with rpm.

So I ordered a couple of fan shrouds from Summit but they made them wrong. Flange on wrong side. They are going to remake them. I will notch for lower radiator hose and hope it works.
