mating a A750F from a gx to an 80 series transfer case? (1 Viewer)

hoping someone can shed some light on this. I currently have an '05 GX470 that i would like to use the motor and trans as a donor for a 60 series.
I've read somewhere I need to swap the transmission output shaft for one from a 100 series in order to bolt an 80 series t-case to it. Can I get
confirmation of this, and any other info on the subject?
