Material of new gas tank (1 Viewer)

Hi,
I saw recall information about FJ60/62 fuel tank at here and many people did.
What is the material of new gas tank ? Is it still same steel with before ? or new material ? such as plastic...
I have carb. 3F that didn't have elec. fuel pump from factory.
But because my oem mech. fuel pump failed and couldn't get same pump that I bought braket and elec. fuel pump for 3FE, made a big hole on my fuel tank and installed that.
So, if new fuel tank is made of other material than steel, it's hard to install elec. fuel pump.
Anyone knows, please inform me.

The USA recall tanks are identical to the original steel tanks.

On your fuel pump, could you install a universal inline electric pump in place of the stock mechanical pump?

Well, stock mech. pump is almost same with 2F's pump but I don't know about inline elec. pump.
If possible, sound nice!
