Where can I get spray-bomb paint that is matched to what is currently on the truck now?

I have looked through countless paint stores etc. and all I could find is a color that is much lighter than what's on there.

Doing some body work and I need to touch up the spots that I have repaired.

Thanks...

Best bet is to get paint color matched at your automotive paint shop. Then go hardware store or Home Depot and get an propelant spray kit. Can't remember brand name . Seems like it starts with a "P". Comes with small jar and spray nozzel. About $6. Then mix your paint per thinning directions and spray away. Works great.

Ace Hardware Safety Blue is the dead on Match to Smurf Blue. I did my whole truck for 40 bucks.

I bought A case of it online. Still had 2 full cans left over for touch ups

the hood hinge is OEM for comparison.

Cheers

Many auto parts stores or paint supply stores, like NAPA or Sherwin Williams, can match your paint given a color sample, then have it mixed up for you.

Thanks for all of the tips.

I forgot to mention the paint is not a factory color. It is a bit darker than smurf blue. (It is a definite repaint).

Take your kick vent off and bring it into a decent automotive paint supplier and they should be able to use a colormatch scanner and get you your paint code.

Good luck!

To spracan paint that you buy from them? They must not want to do it.

I've had coded colors put into aerosols several times and never paid more than $10. a can for the service Each time though it's been paint out of a gallon that I'd bought from the place.
