Master cylinder rebuild kit (1 Viewer)

So after two brand new OEM masters being bad out of the box I’m going to have a go at rebuilding my original. Can someone confirm part number 04493-28090 is the correct one?

Out of curiosity, what was wrong with the new masters?

Both leaking past the seals. I imagine they have just been sitting on the shelf to long and dried out.

I also see 2 part numbers for a 95 rebuild kit. 95 was a transitional year.
In addition to the number you posted, I also see 04493-3D010.
Aisin also lists 2 different part numbers for masters that year.
BMT-046-from 1/95
BMT-068-to 1/95
