Started stripping the underside today. Twirlers are cool! Love this tool.

How are you stripping the underside, or what are you using? Are you removing all the undercoating or are you going to paint over the good parts? I'd like to refresh the bottom of mine next year and that info would be very valuable.
 
Being stripped to bare steel with primarily wire wheels and needle scaler.
 
Typical cancer at the rear seat mount in the rear wheel well. Outer stiffeners have been removed, heavy rust on them as well so they will be reproduced.

Started digging into the driver side rear 1/4. 3/8"+ of filler on top of flat steel lap welded in with rusted steel.

Starting back with fresh metal. Compound curves in this area will take a little time and effort. Luke is certainly up to the task.

Bottom and firewall have been primed, coated with Lizard Skin Sound Control and Ceramic Heat Shield and then painted gloss black.

Interior floor and 1/4s have been stripped, primed, shot with Lizard Skin Sound Control and Heat Shield and painted gloss black.

What primer did you use on the interior.
Looks fantastic 🤠
 
The new age version of Red Lead, Rustoleum primer. I've used this stuff for years with very good results when used properly.
