I decided to install some sliders and went with Marlin Crawler 70” sliders. Not sure if these will be 3 orb4 legs, they come with five but that may be hard to fit.

In trying to measure the legs and mock up where they’ll go I used 3 jack stands to maneuver things around.

Ouch-

Those MC sliders fit a nice price point, but arent they just a tad short? My MT step sliders are 73” and these just meet the edges of each wheel opening.

73" would be ideal, but i was ok with the sacrifice of 3" for the savings. I thought of ordering something larger than 73" and then cutting them down, but really didn't want to hassle with that. The other rear rocker is not nearly as bad, which i guess is a silver lining. I need to cut out some clean lines on the this boogered one and at least get some primer on it before sunset. Tally ho!

Damn, bad luck. I found something similar when I removed my running boards, no hole, but will be soon. Thanks for posting pics of it opened up, now I know what I'll be dealing with in there.

I ordered the exact same, they had a crazy 50% off shipping deal. ended up being 38$ shipping to Florida. Mine are on a truck somewhere mid USA. I am thinking 2 mounting plates, 1 front, 1 rear, 24" long with 4 of the legs used. bolt on application. I plan on a turn up of maybe 5-8 degrees. Interested to see what you end up doing.

I really want 4 legs, but it may end up just being 3. I have a stack of wood that was delivered sitting in my drive way that prevented me from getting it in the garage tonight. Depending on how the patch job goes in the morning, I should have some decent updates......I am sort of comtemplating 86'ing the entire rocker panel on both sides, or notching the pinch weld where the legs pass through heading to the frame.

22g is pretty thin therefore not v forgiving, even when working on small scale pieces.

Your thoughts on cold joining a thicker gauge metal at like 3 points with rivets and then welding/sanding the joints down after?
