Matt,
If they are, I would be interested in some. Look at my thread and see what you make of it.

Excellent! Put me down for a pair. What is the price? I would be willing to buy 2 of each of the others to try on my rear tailgate.

I’ll take two pairs if you’ve got enough - the 28 is going to have LV hardware as well

I will have links posted here shortly

for the bigger tall one and the shorter small one

Are we assuming these keys can be cut to work with an existing door lock cylinder (or have the cylinder and key set-up to match)?

And we are waiting to find out if the other key will do the same for the tailgate?

mark

$88 for a single blank key....I'll pass. :censor:

NO SIR........

you must have mis-read ?

there $68 per blank .........

same cost as all the #1 -#6 single side FJ40 key blanks too

They were NOT free to me ...........

the fellow i acquired them from online knew what he had ......

of course any blank key can be cut to any lock on any door on a car or on your house .........\

maybe i do not understand your question properlly ?

to be clear i am not set up to cut these LV Key blanks .....

you would have to fine a old skool lock smith in your town to cut them on your own

the fellow in the video above did just that ..............

there is NO new update on the smaller key yet as of this time

my LV buddy who test fit and had the larger 00021 key blank cut to match his LV key code does NOT have a tail gate lock assy to try out in ?

Can i assume the side doors and rear tail gate have the same key profile lock ?

My gut personal feelings are this :

Even a FJ55 side front doors and tail gate take the same key and code profile

WHY WOULD a LV be any different ? \

NO other Toyota in History had different side and rear trunk or gate lock types or profiles i am aware of ?

those are MY FACTS to share ...........

matt

Yes, a little spendy for sure. 2 sets of keys is $272 + shipping + locksmith fee to cut keys. I need to think about it as well.
I understand you have costs involved and this is your living (or hobby).
