This has been an issue for a while and I went through all of the maintenance items in the Nav screen but could never get the gauge cluster message to go away. I have now installed a Tesla style HU which doesn't have the maintenance log (a good thing in IMO). I thought it would take care of the gauge cluster message, but no, still there. Now I really don't know how to make it go away. I did check for OBDII codes thinking if there was one I could clear it but there aren't any. Any thoughts anyone?

Have you tried:

■Reset the maintenance data After the required maintenance is performed according to the maintenance schedule, please reset the maintenance data. To reset the data, follow the procedures described below:

1. Switch the display to the trip meter A when the engine is running.

2. Turn the “ENGINE START STOP” switch OFF.

3. While pressing the trip meter reset button, set the “ENGINE START STOP” switch to IGNITION ON mode (but do not start the engine because otherwise the reset mode will be canceled).

4. Continue to press and hold the button until the multi-information display indicates that the reset is complete

That worked! I must have know to do this in the past but somehow forgot. I was trying to reset individual items in the log to no avail. All good now though. Thanks!
