Knowing what BAT does to pricing on these things, though, it would be way beyond any budget I could drum up right now - nor would I be able to get it into California without major drama!

I wouldn't even venture a guess. Just thought it was an interesting strategy for bidding. Perhaps trying to scare people off by declaring something like "I've got cash and I'm not messing around".

Even as built it’s going to appeal to a lot of people. RHD, though will hold it back a little. Registration will suck in smog states and states with stupid import laws (California). I think the $12k jump to $20k in the first day is a ploy, but likely indicative of people thinking with their heart and not their head.

So...I say it’ll probably end up somewhere around $50k. Plus or minus $10k.
