i just installed the maf ss brake line kit on my 60 and have one question for anyone that has/is using these. on the front two lines that go to the wheel it is a really tight fit, how do i get it to not be so taught and get the line to kind of unkink?

pictures of what you're working with? how is the line kinked?

sorry no pick, i keep forgetting to take one before i leave the garage. its not really kinked just twisted because it seems like its just a really tight fit between the caliper and the line holder.

Trying attaching the caliper side first and then turning the nut on the hard line on the axle to tighten that end. This should allow you to tighten it without twisting the line.

goodluck

affirmative.

I have the front line as well and they are a tight fit no matter what... there is a somewhat of a kink on the lines..but I think it has to do more with the angle on the fittings than anything...

One thing that others have done is bypass the fitting on the dust shield and attach the line directly to the caliper.. the angle is much less and it also helps for on the field repairs should you have to pull apart the axle.
