I have owned 2 100 series and 2 200 series. All are sold and I am on the hunt for a new one. Came across this lx 470 less than 100k in the south. Is this too much rust for this age or not a tall? Trying to gauge what I am really looking for.

Definitely not too much rust for me. That kind of surface rust can be easily treated with your favorite rust converter. Also, it's an LX570.

That's no rust to speak of, IMHO.

totally acceptable IMO... some time and converter could have that looking new. I am biased and from the NE, I have an lX with 120k and a touch less rust then that. I have never had any issues with seized bolts etc... Its been a breeze to work on and I have done all new lower control arms, front axles, suspension in and out a few times and steering rack etc... I would use it as a bargaining chip, depending on where you are in the country.
