Team,

So I successfully installed a Tyger Bull Bar for a 2018 to 2021 Tundra onto my 2009 LX570. Being in Germany, I have a really difficult time getting parts for my rig, even more difficult to get LX570/LC200 specific parts. Shipping big stuff into Germany, unless through an importer, is prohibitively expensive and there are no domestic producers of 200 series parts. So trying to find a front bumper or even a Bull bar for my rig has been a months long affair. Did a lot of research and made an educated guess that the front tow hook mounts and spacing for the 200 series and the Tundra were the same, so I looked and looked to find a Bull bar that a company was willing to ship to an APO address and I found a single one, the Tyger bar. It just so happened that it had a front plate that I could easily mount a Euro plate, had integrated light mounts, and looked sharp IMHO. So I eyeballed the Tyger bar in pictures and thought it might hang too low on the LX (which it did). So I ordered a set of ARB tow hooks from SLEE (shout out to Amory for being willing to ship to an APO), and figured if I turned the Tyger mounts upside down and then mounted them below the tow hooks, that it would work, and it did. Here are some pictures, I'll take some better ones in the daylight tomorrow.

are their mid height attachments to the truck, or just the two tow points?

I hate to be the guy to say it...

It looks nice, but where I come from they call it a "small collision damage multiplier" - it usually folds itself over during low impact "fender bender" and takes out other front end body parts that normally would remain intact...

Real push bars (like the ones on police cruisers) have additional mounting points near the front bumper.

I would think that this particular configuration renders your front end camera lens useless... correct?

Yes, absolutely agree. I wanted to keep this thread as a product review vs. a build thread, but I do have a plan to brace it. I bought an N-Fab 4-light mount for the Tundra and a trail tailor hidden winch mount to help fab something together. When I get my winch in and take the front clip off, bracing the Tyger bar will be part of the task.

It is a good thing that you are thinking of fabbing up some reinforcements and hope you succeed doing it (it does sit very close to the front bumper) - it looks great among the other much smaller european cars next to it and in the background.
