I just measured my neutral. I’m just gonna keep it as is since it’s only 1 inch of rake currently

I'd bet there is some re-use for things like pumps, accumulators, and perhaps damping valves?

The 600-series AHC architecture is changed however. It gives up some mechanical cross-linking. Rather it's control of each wheel is more independent, governed moreso by the computer as that allows it to have more capability to adapt to a wider range of use cases. I do like that they added a second spring rate to the rear axle, whereas the 200-series only had that feature at the front. (100-series did not have it on either).

Has it been confirmed whether LX570’s in other markets have a front-rear rake like ours in N.America? I know LC’s from other markets come with front spacers installed which make them more leveled compared to USDM LC’s. Is it the same for the LX?

In the Middle East market, the rake is the same.

This might be a stupid question and I think I already know the answer but here goes ... If I want to re-adjust the REAR sensors only (have already done front and rear sensor lift previously as well as alignment) to try and dial in appropriate amounts of rake I will not need to do another alignment correct? Since (obviously) the alignment is only done to the front wheels. TIA

I was looking to do this on my LX and was watching your video. The question I have is that on my 2011 LX the rear Passenger and Driver side brackets are significantly different. The driver's side looks like the one in the video you created but the passenger side is different on mine where it looks to be the same on yours.

Did you ever discover anything on this rear passenger sensor? Just went to do the lift and discovered mine is the same (2010).

A friend of mine has airlift 1000 airbag, which I am thinking of putting them on.
Do I need to remove the bump stop in order to install them? What's the "sweet spot" PSI should I have them at?

cut off part of the bump stop. The bag becomes the new bump stop.
Minimum of 5psi, but YMMV depending on load. I carry a hitch basket on an 18” hitch extender (cantilevering load) , and I was running 20psi.

Looking for some input to some AHC adjustment issues. When I initially sensor lifted the car I noticed my rear sensors were opposite (RR was up and RL was down!) car was level and AHC operated fine. I lifted the RL up to make both the same and I got a little lift in the rear (much less than the fronts).

After this I noticed the AHC was always a bit jolty when raising and lowering (was as if each corner was not in unison). I put this all down to performing the sensor lift.

Not knowing exactly what im doing with techstream but I borrowed the chord to get the data. I found the RR and RL values ‘after adjust’ were 33.5mm and -36.4mm. Again complete opposite!

Assuming the intent is to adjust these values back to ‘0’? I attempted and can only get them to 5.5mm and -9.5mm. I kept attempting but the values wouldn’t change.

Current issue I have is that I cannot get any Techstream lift to the rear as my RR is at/near the 20mm capacity yet the rear of the car is sitting near level with the front (no squat).

I should note that after the techstream adjustments there were no changes to ride height in the rears. I have noticed a soother lift and drop of the AHC.

Does my data appear acceptable ?

Also - I’m now beginning to think the reason the sensors were different is that my RR has been bent up?

Sorry, I know this has been covered, but this thread is REALLY LONG. I did a front sensor lift (adjusted the brackets). Doesn't seem like it did much. I didn't take measurements, but looks like 0.5" to my eyes. I think I read in here somewhere than you can get an additional .75" above the bracket lift by adjusting in techstream.

Can someone verify that is correct?

And if so, does anyone have a "techstream for dummies" thread they can point me to?

I gained over an inch on just sensor adjustment.

Keep in mind that the more you jack it up via height offset or custom bracket, the worse it will ride. There is no such thing as a free lunch if you go outside of the normal adjustment window. And like a normal lifted truck, you are displacing down travel for ride height. The truck is more likely to "pogo" unless you do something like add a top spacer to get that travel back.

There have been more than a couple of folks who've added more lift beyond the sensor adjustment only to come back with "it rides like s*** AHC SUX" and then they spend $5k deleting AHC lol.

Yes. You'll need techstream for the height offset utility to gain more lift. Should be able to access another .5 to .8".

AHC Height Offset Utility How-To

Height Offset can adjust a maximum of .8", so you move the physical sensors first, and then you have .8 to play with. 1mm of movement on the sensor equates to 2mm on the rig. In theory, assuming there’s enough stoke in the shocks, you might be able to add .8” on top of the “sensor lift” method...

To @tbisaacs point, I'd keep it reasonable to something like 1-1.5 total sensor lift. Part of what some are experiencing is IMO worn accumulators pegging out when going too far.

Yes, I totally understand the point in regards to ride quality and I understand the geometry of IFS suspension in that it won't gain me anything tangible, and may actually limit functionality to some extent.

That said, Life circumstances are pushing me towards selling the 80 and making the 200 the primary rig, and I don't think I can do it. My biggest hang up is aesthetics and I want to look back at my truck and think it looks mean, not like a soccer mom appliance (no offence to anyone). To @tbisaacs point, yes, I'm that guy about to ditch AHC for conventional suspension. Or possibly sell the LX in favor of an LC. No hate, just being real with myself. Small penis = big lift and big tires

35s, 6” of travel, and dampening. Try that with a LC.
