Few posts asking and a few saying it’s probably doable, so here it is. It’s doable. I recently had a set of LSeat covers out on my original clapped out seats. The OEM LX470 map pockets are gross and shot. Ditched them. I peeled the oem covering off of the plastic seat back and had a local upholster cover them in a matching material. Ordered the J100 nets PN717–60020-B2 and 4 new retainer clips PN71769-60020 because frack you will break those little bastards. What you’ll need

-either oem speed nuts PN90183-05016 (x18)
Or go to Ace and buy (18) 3/16” round speed nuts like I did for about 4 bucks.
-1/4” drill bit
-sharpie
-the previously mentioned nets..

The LX seat backs and 7 of the 9 holes required. Set your net over the 7 pre drilled holes and then mark where the new 2 holes need to be (top 2). Drill the 2 new holes to 1/4”. Use a scribe or ice pick to punch through the leather or new material if you have reupholstered like I did. Push the net studs through the seat back and use the speed nuts over the plastic studs to hold it onto the seat back. Pro tip, an 8mm nut driver works GREAT to push the speed nuts all the way down over the studs. Inset the new retainers for the seat back if you have them and reinstall..
