I purchased a 01 LX470 a year ago at New York, registered and passed state inspection perfectly, However, I was pulled over by police few months ago, the reason is defective license plate light, and I was told by my mechanic that my car don't have license plate light
I checked by myself, the place that should have light is flat and smooth, like nothing here at all, what could be the problem? and also the record did not display any repair and damage to the trunk door.
I can buy aftermarket light from Amazon and find a technician to cut a hole and install for me, but I don't know if the inside has cable or wire for it or not. Is there any possibility that could wire the light or buy a cable, I also posted a pic with it
