Hey Folks,

Yet another, I think different, vibration issue.

2013 LX less than 80,000. No mods. All Season tires. Regular maintenance by Lexus. Recently thoroughly inspected by Lexus who found no issues relative to this. Could not duplicate.

Vibration has occurred twice in the space of a few days. First time was at low speeds (from maybe 10 or 15 up to about 35) following a low speed u-turn to the left. The vehicle was shaking enough I thought maybe a wheel was loose on the hub. After trying all kinds of thing it seems to have been lessened or eliminated by turning in a right hand (opposite direction of what seems to have caused it) tight circle (odd I know). Second time at between 55-60 straight road. This time switching from Comfort to Sport seems to have helped quite a bit...maybe eliminating it again.

Any suggestions/ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm not too sure actually, but not too hard to check yourself and confirm. Just seemed like the only thing I could think that might be felt in the steering wheel, but I imagine the steering rack would have a couple other things needing addressing, if it felt like the steering wheel was disconnected from the hub. Maybe worth checking tie-rods as well?

Not sure, just spitballing. I'm definitely not the leading authority on that area lol. But keep us updated, weird that the suspension on Sport changed the behavior.

Yeh I guess I should have mentioned that the steering wheel was pretty stable with little if any shake in it. I thought tie rods maybe but I guess the steering wheel would have been shaking, as well as the vehicle, in that case?

so if you go out and flip another full left U turn the vibration doesn't come back? or it does?

VGRS maybe?

I'll need to allocate a few minutes to try that out again and see.
tried several u turns in both directions and got a small amount one one occasion but nothing like the original time and it seems to dissipate. I'm continuing to try different settings on the suspension and different driving maneuvers to see if I can reliably make it occur. Not sure what else I could do to get it to happen again so it could be checked out.
