This is probably a stupid ?, but how do up you get the black connector to release from the low beam bulb? I have the retaining clip released. is there something I have to press on the black connector to release from the light bulb? Thank you in advance.

Maybe post a pic but I don't think so. It's probably just stuck on there pretty good.

If you have an small / thin pokey or flat screw driver you can gently compress that safety clip and leave the tool in place. This will free up both hands to wiggle and yank on it.

Just don't go ape on it and break the wires. Maybe a little spray of silicone lube around the connector to help that seal break loose.
