I posted a few weeks ago about my LSPV leaking and the responses go back to the other older posts about a delete on 1993 and up... I have a 1992 which does not have ABS. The valve is no longer made for the truck and its leaking badly. My only option appears to be a delete. I cant find anything about 1991-1992 delete.

The scenario: I’m rolling with 35’s and fully armored. Despite a lot of bleeding I couldnt get the brakes to get any better at all so I wired the LSPV up and its been acceptable but not ideal. Now that I’m leaking pretty good out of the LSPV and my brakes are unacceptably mushy I see I have no other option. If I have my thinking correct all I need to do is put in a T where the LSPV is now. Since the LSPV is wired it up its essentially a T now.

Any input from anyone on a 1992 NON-ABS Cruiser is appreciated.

I have not had to do it yet, and have nothing to offer, but as you know, brakes are a big deal - so a simple T might not be the best way to go, there has to be more to it. sorry, my 2cents

I purchased a complete set of copper crush washers and deleted the guts. No leaks, works fine. See this post, my mod is on the 31st post.

*#%^($@ BRAKES!

Not sure what the pn is for the LSPV on your 80's, but I got a new genuine one for my 80 and it's been fitted since about this time last year. I wouldn't delete it. Might be legal to do that in the US but here in Oz it's very illegal.

The LSPV for the 91-92 3fe is a discontinued part. Howver, late last night I was in Toyotapartsdeal.com and they had one for my truck. But we will see when it actually arrives.

If they were the same would be the same part number. That isn’t the case. When the 1fz gets discontinued then there will be some threads.

Yep, looked last night, the FZJ seems to have an electric connection and the FJ another hydro line. Different design I guess, but I read through the threads and links to links above and it's beyond my KSA's to comprehend at the moment.

Safety items are an easy way for insurance to deny coverage in the event. Generally they are too big to look that deep, but then again, anything to save a buck for them.

From toyodiy, LSPV p/n's applicable for my build year of HZJ80R. Both showing in stock at Partsouq.

Any updates on your setup? Did you do your T setup, any issues?

Might be going down your road...

Thanks

The one I ordered from toyotapartsdeal was the right one. They had two on hand. You might look to see if it’s still in hand.

Does the master cylender have a front/rear output on it? Just run a new line back and bypass all the old rusted ones.

You guys make brake work seem a lot harder than it is...
