Thanks for the reply CharlesHS. Yes is the same size 8" and the ratio is the same (in front and back), well I changed the crown and the pinion between each other, i mean, my kzj77 has a ratio 4:56 LSD, and my automatic transmission kzj78 has a ratio 4:30 without lsd. I have been checking other lj/kzj78 but i haven't found any being automatic transmission with lsd, why it's like this? I'm thinking that maybe the torque converter can be damaged with LSD differential but i don't know really.
Thanks for the both replies. Well my kzj78 (left hand drive) has in front and back, the Toyota original elocker without lsd and my kzj77 only lsd back. The 77 has 340.000km and the LSD is still working fine, is very funny on snow, I will see those Detroit. But i would like to know why Toyota only mounted the LSD with manual gearbox.
