Hi Guys,
I am looking at pre-emptively replacing my fuel pump on my 88 62. Couple of questions...Anyone have any experience with Walbro TCA324HP? Having some work done and it looks like the PO put in an external pump and then ripped it out and went through the stock fuel pump (is that even possible for fuel pressure and fuel feed rate?). It never ends. Went in for a front axle swap and a few other issues, but we have a little scope creep. I drove it from Atlanta to Seattle with no fuel issues (tons of other issues) so I have no complaints about the performance. It was looking at the wiring and it concerns me.
The posts I see are a couple of years old. If they suck, is there another bolt in option? I want to keep an in-tank pump. Trying to ensure I have a reliable rig for adventuring! Thanks for your input.
