Somewhere I remember reading that an FJ45 SWB should really have the designator LPA, similar to how the LWB has the LPB designator. But nobody uses LPA. Can anyone shed light on this? The cruiserfaq didn't really clear it up for me.
 
Pretty it's just FJ45LP just like it's FJ45LV for the wagon. Then when the LWB was started then put a B on the end. But it's reall FJ45LP-B and FJ45LPB. It was dash B. The FJ40 hard top was really FJ40LV but I don't really see to many stamped that way in the early years. Most were stamped FJ40L hard top or soft top.
