Lower right dash pad? 72 to 73? (1 Viewer)

Would the lower right dash pad off a pre 72 fit on a 77? My 77 has the 2 piece split pad, standard area for the radio. Would the little clips that hold it on line up or would I have to put in new ones in the pre 72 location.

I'm going to be using a center console from CCOT and I want to put my radio in there. I'm currently doing a frame up resto on my 77 using a gozzard fiberglass tub. I don't have to cut out that area if I don't want to and would like to cover it up, but want it to look nice and factory.

I have a nice rh lower pad from a 1972 (no radio) that I would love to trade ya for a nice two part pad for a radio.....
