Keep in mind. There can be other oil leaks points, from same area. Cam & crank seals, which are not common in the 98-05 unless previously replaced. Oil pump housing O-ring. Which while doing a timing belt services, can easily be determined. Or one can use inspection camera to help pinpoint, with just a cover off.
Also, if oil leak not bad, you can live with it. By monitor, keep topped and clean. Until next T-belt due. Cleaning oil off bushings, is important.
