I was asking about cone washers on the lower bearing caps on the large knuckle housings. Looks like they didn't use them. Only the earlier drum brake ones.

correct, later knuckles only used cone washers on the steering arm
lower cap was just nuts and washers

AFAIK,,,,3 puppies is correct - only CONE WASHER on top I put...

My 80 series and old drum brakes on the 40 had them on the bottom. Interesting that they went away from that for awhile.
