Hey all,
Just after some help. New to this, but am learning quickly.
I'm having some issues with my '82 60 series. Have a diesel 2h with aftermarket turbo.

The issue I'm having is a RAPID rpm drop occasionally. So much so, that the EDIC kicks in and stalls the car. Can hear the fuel relay click. I know the relay is okay, the edic is okay. It's something causing the rpm to drop drastically. Now, this doesn't happen all the time. Only after cruising for some time/5th gear.
It's not a temp thing, sits comfortably at 72C, and have just replaced the whole cooling system.

The only thing I can think of it that maybe my oil pressure is too high? It seems to sit high on the dial all the time. Have just ordered an aftermarket gauge and new oil return valve spring.

Any help is appreciated!!

I just don't know where to look next. New injection pump last year. I can't even wrap my head around what would be causing it. It's so occasional, but then again, always happens under those conditions.
