Low pitched humming at high speed front end (1 Viewer)

So you don't hear the noise at lower speeds? Do you have to drive at 75-85mph? These beasts don't like to be thrashed like that, and it's letting you know. Take it easy on the old lady :p

Ha. I know what you're saying. Yeah, I generally drive 75-85 and I think she likes it! :p

Well like I said, I've had this particular 80 since 2011, it has had a 4" lift and MT or AT tires the entire time. I've dealt with my fair share of noises through the years.... I'm still thinking driveshaft, OR does anyone have similar issues with front output bearing on transfer case? How difficult is it to check? I don't get any play....

I’ve been smiling ever since going part time. She barrels down the road at the speeds you like when loaded or empty as smooth as 37” mud tires will allow.
