well.. moving on through the issues of this 2nd 3B i bought and i can confirm that the low oil pressure cut-off switch works but it is always killing the engine when its hooked up..

is it possible to replace this part from another 3b?

if this wire (the black+yellow strip wire) was grounded elsewhere would this cut out the engine?

I have run the engine with this wire disconnected and it appears to have normal operating oil pressure as per the factory guage..

Its not a biggie just something I would like to sort if I can.. I dont like the thought of not having a safety feature to protect the engine..

thanks!

is the resistance at the switch correct? the PO of my truck disconnected the EDIC and I think it was because the engine kept switching off due to a bad low oil press switch.

hmm.. not sure how to check this? any tips?
