What the difference between the #1 sub assembly and the #6? I have the #6 and need to replace it but I don’t have the #1 and am wondering if that is part of my problem with water getting inside the passenger area?

#1 is the metal part of the body under the plastic cowl cover. Would only be replaced with extensive body work in the event of rust or something.
