1988 FJ62 daily driver going up for sale. This truck is super reliable and has served me well. I have a baby on the way, so unfortunately gotta find this baby a new home. The things i love most are it's never left me stranded and there is no frame rust. It has pretty much brand new carpet (put in right before i purchased in 2021) and I've added a CarPlay touchscreen (among many other things). I've taken good care of it over the past couple years, doing many projects (listed below) and had bigger ticket items done at K&H and Westside Brake & Tires in Culver City (Pedro has worked on Land Cruisers for years). A lift, new tires, and some paint love will take this truck to the next level. All on my 2023 projects list, but deciding to part ways. I've also listed some of the quirks below, not trying to hide anything from the potential buyers. Ask away and I'll answer the best i can. It's a solid truck that I daily drive around LA, up to Ventura/SB for surfs, and Yosemite for a summer camp.

Upgrades/Work completed:

- 2023 Tune Up: new serpentine belt, throttle body cleaning, new spark plugs & wires, new distributor cap, new ignition rotor, new fuel filter, fuel injection service, PCV cleaning
- new radiator, thermostat & housing, hoses
- new alternator
- new fuel pump & fuel filter
- new muffler & back exhaust pipe
- new battery
- new oil pan & gasket
- new CarPlay unit (with Pioneer speakers)
- new tie rods & drag links
- front passenger birfield rebuild
- new rear brake cylinders and shoes
- new front brake rotors & pads
- gear oil (front/rear diffs & transfer case)
Quirks:
- small oil leak
- AC not working (needs new AC compressor)
- passenger window needs help going up (all other work great!)
- 3/4 door cards are in good condition; vinyl on back passenger is peeling
- some small rust streaks starting on roof and gutters (see photos)
- I was told paint is original; light blue starting to fade and there are chips
- PO plastidipped rims; starting to peel (i will remove it all if i have time)
