For sale is my lightly used CVT Mt. Saint Helens hard shell rooftop tent. This has been a great tent for me over the past year or so, but I don’t use it enough to justify keeping it. My wife bought this for us, but then realized she doesn’t like camping that much so I’m downsizing to a truck camping setup.
The tent has seen about 12 nights in it over the last year or so. It fits 2 full size adults very comfortably with a mattress slightly smaller than your average queen size bed. There are no rips, tears or mold on the fabric and the entire unit is in great shape. The tent will come with a ladder, hangable insulation from CVT, awning props, stock mattress, and mattress cover that’s been on the entire time we’ve used the tent. Everything articulates smoothly and the helper struts hold the load without issue. This is the second of three versions of this tent with the improved latches and hard shell. The tent is quiet when mounted on the roof and feels fairly aerodynamic all things considered. It weighs about 150 lbs and is easy enough for two people to mount, especially with the front runner quick release mounts I have on it. I’m also listing the front runner slimline II rack if you’re interested in a package deal.
