Looking to do and learn the birf job, can anyone lend a hand in NY/NJ?

Your right on about doing it yourself. The nice thing about cardboard is you can throw it away after it's full of grease, less to clean up.

PM when you're planning on doing it. I can try and get up there if you happen to have any questions or need anything.

I can kill two birds with one stone since I haven't seen any of my buddies since I left in November.

One more thing, Can I add grease to the birf to carry me over till the kit and DVD arrive? I removed the access plug and think I can just squirt gease there. Is this correct? Is it moly grease I need to buy?

There really isn't much use in adding grease through the plug as it doesn't make it way into the Birf. If you're only taklking a week or more don't bother. Yes, it is moly grease though.
