Putting out a feeler post to see what I can find, as I have had a mixed bag of results searching on my own thus far. My Mom was diagnosed with brain cancer last year and we want to do a lot of traveling around North America, but due to some medical implant devices, air travel is no longer a suitable option. Next best thing is an adventure rig - and so the hunt begins. I am putting my Lexus ISF up for sale this week, so starting a more serious hunt to land a 100-series.
I'm looking to acquire a well-maintained, ideally enthusiast-owned 100-series. Must have no rust and be in good-to-great mechanical condition. I am less concerned about cosmetic issues, though obviously the prettier the better. Ideally, I would prefer something under 200k miles, though I understand that might be a stretch given my budget so I will seriously consider higher mileage rigs with substantial maintenance history.
Light color exterior preferred though I'm not picky at this price point.
