I think this is literally the only function of this bolt. I seem to be having trouble finding it... of course, it's out of production, and of course, I stripped mine because I'm an idiot. Anybody happen to come across one of these? Part number is 51920-60020 and it goes in the center of the trunk opening, into the metal plate (and yeah the other bolts are the regular philips self-threading, just this one is different).
