Reinvestigating the all distributor thing I am wondering if this model would install without issue on a non-USA 1974 (with vacuum advance).
A point I'm still not understanding clearly on the ignition system is the various versions of coils, do an elec distributor like that needs a different coil from the stock one on a F engine ?

YES !

this unit WILL Plug and Play mechanically into a 1963-1987 F , F 1.5 , 2F

NEVER looked into a 3F application to be clear , dont know about all that

I searched the forum for 61180 (and 61080) to try to understand what was possible and what people were doing, didn't realized I was on the FJ25 section 😅.
Actually most threads on distributors for F engine end up with a 61080+Pentronix recommendation without a clear answer about 61180.

So you didn't had to change the original coil to match the new dizzy?

you need a special COIL Assy. for the 60180 upgade / update unit ........
