I'm a 1-banana 100 series owner living in Seattle and shopping for a 4Runner for my 18 year old son who will be spending the next couple of years - at least - living and driving in and around snowy mountain conditions, taking longish trips and sleeping in the back at times. I have a budget of under $10k. Less is better. Looking for manual transmission and preferably 22re.
I have seen a couple of potentially interesting rigs that fit the bill, but both are at dealers (one in Woodinville, one in Spokane) and used car dealerships scare the **** out of me.
Would anyone more knowledgable than I be willing to accompany me on look and advise? I'm willing to compensate in cash, beer, whiskey, food, or whatever you might feel is appropriate.
