I ended up bashing my exhaust pretty good to the point it was touching part of the body (and making a bunch of noise). I was able to straighten it out but not sure what is the correct amount of clearance.

This picture is passenger side, right in front of the muffler. The exhaust was making contact with that rib/support on the body.

The clearance measurement I'm looking for is between the flange and that rib/support on the body. I have about 3/4" and wondering if I should go for more. It's not making noise on speed bumps but I haven't taken it on washboard roads yet. Thanks!

2” to the top of that flange; 4” to the bolt. Unmodified (and undamaged) OEM exhaust system

Looks like I have quite a bit more to go... maybe a new exhaust system is in my future. :cheers:
