Hi there,

I am in the market for new BFG 33 X 10.5 X 15 tires for my 60 and going to be looking for the best holiday deal. Before I buy from a major retailer are there any vendors on Mud that sell new tires I can buy from to help for the Holidays.

Thank you !!

You can also have a local store match the DTD price if you want to go and grab them right away. Not sure on the gift card.

The last time I tried to get Discount to mount 33/10.5/15 BFGs on my 60 they said they couldn't do it due to the wheel being too narrow. More than that!!! they wouldn't even sell me just the tires so I could have them mounted elsewhere! They said their policy disallowed selling if they believed their tire would be mounted in an unsafe manor.

Ended up getting a better deal online direct shipped to a "mom and pop" tire shop down the road. Just food for thought...

what was there concerns about being two narrow, in australia this is not a common tyre size at all 31x10.5.15 used to be now its 33.12.5. Reason i ask i like the look plus the fact my rims won't fit the 12.5 s.

Local tire guy sold me 5 for $245/ea. BFG has a $50 rebate. Not awesome but reasonable

Concerns are that mfgs. are now posting "recommended" rim width measurements. Thus companies like DT, Les Schwab and others are taking that to heart and creating legal policies that will not allow their companies to mount on anything SMALLER THAN the minimum width. This is for protection against the risk of life and limb should the tire blow off a rim that is too small/under the recommend min. width.

Unfortunately, what I am seeing now is that we are no longer allowing a "natural" thinning of the herd for people that do dumb things. This has spilled over to everyone having TONS of extra precautions in the form of legal polices. Case in point, getting a verbal reprimand for saying "... and I will discuss with the ladies over in XYZ department to get this done." Reason for verbal reprimand... I should have said, STAFF as the term LADIES can be taken offense to.

i've always had good experiences with tire rack and they have a warehouse a couple hours from me where i can pickup tires and save on shipping
