Does anyone know where I can purchase an aluminum plate to cover the radio hole in a 73 FJ40 that wil,l hold 2 2" 0r 2 1/16" gauges.? Compression mounting would be preferred so I don't have to drill the dash. Even just the plate with the 2 gauge holes would be fine. I could drill the mounting holes and rig up a washer compression mount.

Why don't you just make one? You can buy a piece of aluminum and drill/cut a couple holes in it. It would prably be a hell of lot cheaper then buying some pre-made thing.

Try a local custom sign company. They will have the tools and expertise to make a nice gauge plate for you.

Actually by the time I buy the aluminum ( fairly cheap) and a hole saw ( not cheap) I don't think it would be cheaper. I just thought someone on here might make them. If not I'll either by the hole saw and aluminum or keep looking.

Thanks. I didn't think about that. I work at a place that has a sign shop. I'll see if they can sneak me one out.
