Looking for after market Spare tire carrier

    Spector has one I think, Oposite Lock from AUS I think.

    Thanks LP...found it at Spector but man talk about some serious $$ for it. I think for that kinda $$ i can get use to it underneath the rig.

    I looked at this option for my 60, to get the 31X10.50 out from under the truck. After reviewing prices and considering the aggravation of swinging the tire away EVERY time I need to get into the back of the cruiser, I decided to wait until I get the roof rack, and put the tire up there with a cover. Two birds with one stone, and no aggravation.

    Just a suggestion.

    you can get a 33 under a 60/2 or 80, but it works best with a tall skinny or it hangs down low. On a 80 you can move the carrier up for more clearence on a 60/2 ya can't.

    so if you running 33's get a 33x9.5 for a spare.........if ya want.

    Kaymar no longer makes the rear bumper for the 60 series. I bought one of the last ones.

    I built a full length roof rack out of 3/4 thinwall sqaure tubing, and since I used a buddy's tubing bender on the corners it looks pretty professional, especially when covered with Durabak! I then welded a stick of all-thread straight up from a flat iron platform to form a holddown for my spare tire. I put in in the rear third of the rack. I welded a couple of handles onto the big nut that fits the all-thread and it cinches down good and tight. Works great--until I actually have to heave that big 33x12.50 off the roof!
