I'm have a built 2uzfe on the stand, and looking for a supercharger for my 2001 LX470. If anyone knows where to find one pm me please! Thanks guys!

is it going back into a 100? sounds like a nice build, do share.... especially since you're just up I-5 from me

The motor is out of a 2000 LC, and I have installed a 5.5L stroker kit. Still need to have some headwork done, and would like to find a blower for this thing.

And yes, it's going into the LX

That's fantastic. I for one would love to see picks of the block build if you have any available.

damn tyler one project after another with you isnt it? let me know when you get it buttoned up i wanna see this bad boy

Well, I'll grab some pictures once I get everything painted and pretty.

If you guys are interested in performance 2uzfe stuff, check this out.

TTC Performance - 2uz-fe 4.7L

Cams, Intake manifolds, and Stroker kits. There is even a kit to adapt to a R series, W series manual transmission. If I can't find a supercharger, I might have to build a camed N/A 5.5 2uzfe.

As for the build, I am trying to figure out if the 3uzfe heads will fit because I heard they flow much better than a 2uzfe head. I miss my big block FJ40 power and just trying to fill the void with the 100 :)

Holy XXXX! Nice stuff but cost's big bucks.

what do u expect the engine to put out in terms of horsepower/torque?

You won't find a supercharger new, they were discontinued years ago due to issues with the install on the Tundra/Sequoia. I see them used on Ebay from time to time, but they're usually for the Tundra and have the Tundra piggyback ECU. So, sourcing the LC piggyback ECU would be next to impossible, and then if anything was missing or broken in the kit, you'd never find a replacement.

Slee is still selling a turbo I believe? Not a supercharger, but it will add power!

He is, but I believe you have to have the kits installed at Slee. I have thought about a custom turbo setup, but I'm worried about the tranny being able to take the torque of a 5.5L turbo.

I can't remember the guy's name, he had a turbo 80 series that he built a motor for. I believe he was having some issues with the transmission, which worries me a little bit.

I'll have to sleep on it, it would be cool just to build a stroked out 2uzfe, should produce some great torque numbers with stock ported and polished heads.

You should send this guy an email..Dave@185performance.com
toylexmods gave me this email and he said he pretty much bought all that were available when they were discontinued or something like that. You can search toylexmods on superchargers too. He hasn't been on here since 10-06. You might look over at Tundra Solutions, that might be where he's at.
I have a phone number if nothing else works...:meh:

if all else fails, keep me updated on that. Been thinking of doing some serious engine mods for some more giddy up

So when TRD came out with the Supercharger Kit for the Land Cruisers, what years what it for? Did it include a totally new ECU or just how did they set that up?

Just curious

They made them for 93 on up until it was canceled. Seems like it was discontinued around '01. As I said, it was a piggyback ECU, meaning it was a module that plugged into the existing ECU system.

Since it was a Tundra/Sequoia issue I've wondered if it's still sold in markets where neither of those is available. But, most non-US markets for the 100 series still have the 1FZ.

hate to bring up an OLD thread - but did this ever get built?? ;)
