Hi all,

So I've gotten the itch to reinstall the factory toyota security led light. (It also has a small speaker? but I'll disregard that)

Digging through the electrical diagram is proving to be difficult as my electrical understanding is

On the driver's side I'm trying to find a circuit that is hot while the car is off / then dead when the key is turned (or after starting is fine too)

I'm just trying to get that led to blink when off and then have it stop once I either turn the key or have the motor running...

Looking for input as to what wire or circuit would be good for this little project...

Im also open to installing a viper or another alarm system (according to another thread) if you think that's the best route..

Thanks 👍

Olay thank you...

So 87a would be my hot out to the led light.

30 would be the constant hot (when ignition is off)

Then find a hot when engine running for 86

And ground to 85?
