Looking for a 40

Ok, my brother-in-law borrowed my 40 today and wow was that a mistake. He just dropped it off to me at my office and he didn't want to get back into his 60. So with that said he is looking for a 40. It doesn't have to be prestine. He doesn't mind finding one without an engine as i have a spare. So let me know what you have for sale.

I don't know if it's still there, but a few days ago there was a yellow 40 at the used lot at Honda of McKinney.
It's a little scary looking but it's complete and all stock. Sticker on it says it's a 74 but I'm pretty sure it's a 69.
They're asking $6850 and said they'd take $4500. Looks like a $3000 rig tops to me.

I looked at this one on Tuesday and offered $3k. They turned it down but then the rep has been calling me all day wanting to get a lot closer to my offer, they sales manger said on Tuesday he had to have $4500. So it sounds like someone could pick this up for somewhere between those to prices. I never called the guy back so I did not get their offer.

That one in Midlothian has wipers at the bottom edge of the windshield and ambulance doors on the back. I would think it is a 75' or so, although the ad says it is a 1970. Perhaps someone just replaced some of the parts...
