Looking for 33x12.5x15's or 16" Wheels

I've got some 33x10.5x15 BFG A/T's and am looking for some 33x12.5's to step up to.

If anyone has some, or hears of some, let me know.

Would be willing to trade or buy if the price is right. My A/T's have about 5k on em and were purchased last April.

EDIT:

I'm looking for some 16's for the old girl, 4" backspacing or less. I've been besides myself with the spacers debate and have decided to do this once, and do it right.

Mike I am confused, you are looking for some 33x12.5r16s? and 16" rims? is this for the 75? and one last thing lol why not stay 10.5?

Usually people jump to a 16 to be able to run a thinner tire. I will keep a eye out, and are you only looking for a/t's or are you up for m/t's as well?

Lol, there's a lot going on in my head right now, I'll try to explain.

I currently have 15x8 wheels with 3.75" BS.

My tires are 33x10.5x15's. Tall, skinny, secksy.

My track width is too narrow for my liking, and it feels a bit tippy off pavement. With the new springs, the wheel wells look very open.

With the objective of widening my stance, increasing my (perceived) stability, and filling my wheel wells post lift a bit better, I am examining my options.

Option 1: Maintain current wheels, get 33x12.5's. I tested this, they look good. I have a set of crap 12.5's mounted, so would need decent tires.

Option 2: Run my 33x10.5's on a wheel with less backpacking. I can get some cheap steelies, same size, with 2.5" BS. This would let me keep the tall skinnies (which are in good shape) and widen my track width without spacers.

Option 3: find some 16's and run 285's. These are about a 33x11.5 and would be cross compatible with the 80.

I think the cheapest option is running new wheels with less BS, unless Incan find a killer deal on something. I need this to be streetable, and I think the skinnies are a bit better on road.

Thoughts?

ah hah, this is what you should do buy some 2.5 bs 16 wheels and run ltb ss's haha that would look SICK!

No, try a search in the 60s section I know there are a lot of people running 16s in there. Probably what you will need to do is special order some with the bs you want it shouldn't cost you much more. Or if you find some cheap 16s steelies like at p&p you can have someone re center the bs where you want it.

Here is a thread, this guy seems like he found some for a decent price.
I like your idea of running 2.5 on 16s and being able to use them on both rigs :) I will keep a eye out for some good a/t 16s

one other thing, it shouldn't matter to much but it does wear harder on your trunnion bearings fyi. But since your has been rebuilt recently probably won't matter.
Also how tippy? you running your sway bars yah?

I got a guy that may be selling some very new maxis bighorns in 33x12.50r15
They are slightly aggressive for street driving though. I know what you are going through I spent months looking for the tire setup I wanted blah, then I still had to run spacers cuz I was to cheap to buy custom rims. (which would have been barely any more in the long run).

I know! Any info on what he might want for em? I just ordered some new steelies with 1.25" less BS than I had for my original 33x10.5's, so I probably won't need anything, but if the price was right, who knows.

Hoping my new wheels and springs come in soon... Would love to have em on before the meet and greet but I don't see that happening.

I will find out, I bet he wants a decent amount because they are in great shape.
New springs? I thought you just put new springs on didn't you? or did you only do the back or something, man I have a bad memory...

Only did the rears, still waiting on the fronts from Oz!

I'll probably pass... I don't need to throw any more cash at this nonsense, I probably should have left it alone to begin with... Oh well, new wheels are inbound.

So what back spacing are these new wheels? 2.5? that should look perfect I would think. I think mine could still come out a bit, but its hard to tell if it would take away from the look.

Yep, old wheels were 3.75" BS, new ones are 2.5" BS. Looking forward to getting em mounted up and seeing how they look.
