Longfield question

I recently purchased a used set for front axles and birfields for my FJ60 here on ih8mud. As I am regreasing them I am noticing "bumps" as I rotate the birfield around center on the axle shaft. I am feeling this when rotating in close to the "aligned straight" position as well as when the birf is flexed at a higher angle to the axle shaft (as I might expect).

Is this a problem I am feeling or standard behavior? I am not used to this with stock birfields.

I just got of the phone with Bobby Long... he confirms that the birfs are worn and need to be rebuilt... I bought these with the understanding that they were in working order... I am contacting the seller to ask him to help out with the rebuild $...
