Spray painted them. The closest color i could find. It’s alittle dark but way more of an oem look then black.

Fixed the broken headlight. Had a headlight with cracked glass and one with broken tabs. Baked them. Separated them and made one good light.

Passed smog today. The smog shop owner said @maxamillion2345 did an amazing job on the engine.
How did you keep the grills from filling with paint? A light blast of shop air?

So I’m looking at getting gears soon. Thinking 5.29s with a lunchbox rear locker and a arb front locker. Also replacing the front axle shafts with cromolly. Does that sound like a good setup?

planning on using the truck as a family sized rock crawler. Rubicon, barret lake, dusy ershim. The stuff my tacoma struggles on.

Yeah, if that's all you're going to run then that should be fine. I'd do the t case gears too, if you haven't already
