I have been looking at the LRA for some time, and have started a collection of parts. One thing I can't seem to soure is the Pegasus combination tank pump switch/fuel level indicator. Any sources (including you guys)?
Sorry, I am confused. You have an LRA tank? What parts are you collecting? We sell LRA tank kits including combo modules for pump control and fuel level. We also sell replacement/repair parts to customers that need to replace a damaged component.

Feel free to call me at 209-636-0831.

I just need the pegasus switch....I have the Toy filler and am building a tank. If you sell the switch only (and pump if dimensions are compatibile), I'm interrested

How did I not run into you there...! I would like a bigger tank on my 40... PS - Mule has done a tone of custom work on my Pinzgauer great crew Search and Rescue Pinzgauer (@sarpinz) • Instagram photos and videos. Also, I graduated from CHS, I spent a lot of time in your neck of the woods while my dad was rebuilding the bar at the Greenbank store and working on the winery building.

Excellent question. We have been dealing with later series fitment and emission systems while offering older tank kits as catalogued by LRA.

In Australia, the tank for 1FZ-FE engined FZJ80s are not suitable due to Australian FJ80s having the carby 3F engine. Email sent to confirm whether the LRA FZJ80 tank will work in US 3FE equipped vehicles.

Thanks for asking, will report back.

I confirmed this with LRA and the FZJ80 replacement tank - the TLC80FR-PA - will not fit 80 series with 3F or 3FE engine the main difference is the way the exhaust runs on the Early model conflicts with the front of the tank. The tank would need to be shortened by 6” and the exhaust modified to work. It has been done, but it is NOT a standard tank - it would be a DIY mod to the LRA tank. Not enough demand in either AU or USA 3F or 3FE replacement tanks to justify, especially given availability of 42 and 24 gallon aux tanks.

Sorry....

OPEN BOX SPECIAL :bounce::bounce2:
Early 100 Series LRA Replacement Main Tank 40 Gallons 1998 - 2002

Delivered price $1,295

This tank business is an adventure.... it turns out the current LRA replacement tank will not work with later (2003+) 100 Series. We found this out the hard way :(

SO..... we have a couple of needs/opportunities.

  • First, we need to find a home for a new tank that didnt't fit in a 2003+ Hundy due to new emission configuration on later 100s.
  • Second, we need to ship it back from the installing shop.
  • Third, we need to improve the installation documentation - and would love to find a 100 owner who would like to get a screaming deal and provide us with some narrative and some good photos
Anybody interested?

We will send you the tank and pay shipping, plus knock off $300 from the retail kit price of $1,595 for a net, delivered cost of $1,295.

Yes, it will work in a 1998-2002 US 100 Series.

First come, first served :bounce::bounce2:

If interested, PM or call Ward Harris @wardharris at 209-636-0831

Thanks! :cheers:

PS Yes, we are working on aux tanks for all 100 Series (early and late) plus a conforming replacement main tank for the 2003-2007 100 Series. ETA late Summer/Fall.

Here are some snaps of the replacement main tank we have on offer.

What do you have for a 40? Can't seem to find too much on the web about what is available.
Sorry I missed this post. We have a replacement main for the FJ40s - 29 gallons for $1,395 plus shipping. We have one in stock.

Thanks

PRICES, DISCOUNT, GROUP BUY (Kind of)

A quick update....

1. US spec instructions are complete (for now) and attached.
2. Over a dozen US installs of the 200s and no issues, they install and function as designed.
3. Prices are up (shipping, mostly) and there will be a $100 price increase to $1,795 for the complete kit effective July 15.

We are honoring the contributions of the 200 MUD crew by extending the $200 intro discount for paid orders received by July 1 - at the current retail price of $1,695 - for a net price of $1,495 plus shipping to your shop or local YRC (Yellow Freight) terminal. We will place the order on July 1 with shipping first week of August. We have made the order/build/ship process much more efficient and the timeline has been shortened up significantly.

If you want in, just go to this link and provide the required information and we will get you an estimate with shipping for approval.

I will update our other threads as well, but wanted to start here and say thanks for the support!
