Hello everybody, I still pursue the extended range issue – aux. tank in the rear - 160l/42gal. Found a LRA distributor in Belgium. When reading the installation manual “TLC80RAX” there is a work step as follows:
5. Cut the original filler neck pipe directly in line with the inside of the chassis rail. NOTE: WHEN CUTTING FILL NECK DO NOT USE TOOL THAT WILL CREATE SPARKS OR FLAMES.
Is there a re-usage/installation of the original filler possible in case I would refit and detach the aux. tank? Overhere I will not fulfill the technical inspection association requirements. But for Algeria traveller it would bother me.
Does anyone has a pic of what and where the cutting has to be excecuted? Many thanks.
