Ah I see your floorboard is bad. You can patch cheap but good or patch better and last much longer. Few ways to go about it. I’ve done the cheap but could do the better now that I have a mig welder....

if you have a chance to check your rear diff flange for up-down/side-side play with the driveshaft removed, you should take it. common for a loose pinion bearing to growl during decal...you can tighten it up to buy some time, but not too much or you just make the clock move faster... I totally...

Lots of folks cutting these truck up it seems. Get a piece bigger than you need, lay it on top of the bad spots and then cut both the patch and the old floorboard at the same time if you can. Makes for a perfect fit.

Also dry ice to remove the bed liner near the bad area prior to patching.
